Too much of a good thing?

This has got to be one of my favourite pictures! I LOVE receiving pictures of people enjoying my creations, but this one "takes the cake" (pun intended!)

This cake was made for a stagette for a wild bunch of ladies - the theme: Senoritas & Margaritas. So what would be more appropriate than a GIANT margarita?! Standing almost 10" high, this lime scented cake with Tequila sugar splash and fresh lime curd buttercream was a hit with the bride to be! Complete with a sugar rimmed glass and white chocolate lime slice.

The 8th New Wonder

It's another year for Flour Confections - and we start off with a big event cake!

The Bank of Montreal InvestorLine contacted me to create an event cake for the launch of their new campaign - The 8th New Wonder https://www.bmoinvestorline.com/8newwonders/Default.html?WT.ac=RSPPromo2008EN01022008

The theme is the new 7 wonders of the world - so I created a 4 tier cake with a hand painted embossed map of the world and edible "postcards" of each of the new 7 wonders of the world. The top of the cake featured an all edible BMO logo.
